Apology Regarding Recent Server Connection Issues

Dear Players,

We are a small, dedicated game development and operations studio. While our team was once much larger during our peak years, we are now operating on a smaller, independent scale. Despite this, our passion remains unchanged, and we continue to do our very best to bring you a quality gaming experience.

Recently, we have been taking firm legal and technical action against illegal private servers. We are grateful that global server hosting providers have recognized our legitimate intellectual property rights and are actively assisting us in taking these unauthorized servers down. This is only natural—operating or playing on unauthorized servers is unlawful and undermines the healthy community we are striving to build.

Unfortunately, in response to our enforcement, individuals behind these illegal servers have been persistently attacking our official service, hiring low-level bad actors and attempting distributed attacks against our infrastructure. We have been continuously working to upgrade our security measures against these threats.

On September 10th, our servers experienced another unsophisticated attack, which triggered our automated defense mitigation systems. As a small studio, we are currently unable to invest in the most expensive, enterprise-grade DDoS mitigation tiers, and our existing defense setup caused temporary connection drops and login instability for many legitimate players during the mitigation process.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and frustration this downtime has caused. We are actively fine-tuning our mitigation rules to ensure our defenses do not disrupt normal gameplay, and we will continue working hard to deliver a more stable and secure service.
